Love Death and Robots - Lord Chalon of Europa

I had the honor of working on the Netflix's latest, fourth season of Love, Death & Robots and on the sixth episode, “The Screaming of the Tyrannosaur.” This was one of my last collaborations with the one and only Axis Studios before they closed their doors last year. I was responsible for the model of Lord Chalon of Europa, while grooming, shading and textures were handled by other artists. Getting his face to look properly arrogant was a huge team effort :) The original design was later changed (shorter cape, shorter horns etc) so the version in the turntable is the new one and I updated my model to reflect that. Unfortunately, his screen time was reduced in the final release, so he appears only briefly. There was also a small additional contribution from me as I modelled also Mei's gloves (just the basic gloves, not the weapon mechanism). Huge thanks to the team for this opportunity, Axis Studios did an amazing job, and I was lucky to be part of this dream team.
